What’s the difference between the Climber’s Balm and the Healing Hand Balm?
Both balms have the same nourishing formula — the difference is in the branding and intended audience. Climber’s Balm was originally designed for worn, chalk-dried hands, but we soon realised the formula benefits all dry skin, so we created Healing Hand Balm to make it more widely accessible.
What makes Climber’s Balm ideal for climbers?
It’s tailored to the unique needs of climbers’ skin — dry, cracked, or callused hands. It absorbs easily, soothes without greasiness, and helps skin recover between sessions.
Can I use it on other areas of the body?
Yes! While formulated for hands, our balm works well on elbows, heels, and other dry patches. For lips or very sensitive skin, we recommend the unscented version.
How do I choose between scented and unscented?
If you’re sensitive to fragrance, go for the unscented version. If you enjoy subtle, natural scents, our scented balm is infused with essential oils that smell great and offer therapeutic benefits.

Do you use organic ingredients?
Yes, we prioritise using organic ingredients wherever possible. This ensures safety, quality, and alignment with our environmental values.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Absolutely. All of our products are 100% vegan and never tested on animals. We’re committed to ethical and compassionate skincare.
Why don’t you use beeswax?
We avoid beeswax due to ethical concerns regarding the impact on bee populations. Instead, we use Candelilla Wax — a sustainable, plant-based alternative that’s just as effective.
Are the ingredients ethically sourced?
Yes. We carefully select each ingredient to ensure it’s sustainably and ethically sourced, supporting fair labour and environmental responsibility.
What makes your balms unique?

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our unscented formula is especially gentle and ideal for those with fragrance sensitivities or easily irritated skin.
Are they safe for children?
Our ingredients are gentle and natural, making our products generally safe for children. However, we always recommend patch testing and consulting a healthcare professional for peace of mind.
Storage & Shelf Life
What’s the shelf life of your balms?
For best results, we recommend using your balm within 6 to 12 months. Store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to maintain quality.
How should I store my balm?
Keep it in a stable, cool environment away from heat or sun. This helps preserve texture and potency.
I noticed crystals on the surface. Is that normal?
Yes, this is completely natural and caused by mango butter crystallising as it cools. It doesn’t affect performance and melts smoothly on contact with skin. To minimise crystallisation, store your balm in a consistent, cool place.
